Much has already been written elsewhere about the superb natural beauty and diversity of Slovenia - for this reason we will not go into too much detail here and we will let our pictures tell their own story.
Quite simply Slovenia is one of the prettiest and most unspoilt countries in central europe. We have mountains and coast, alpine and meditteranean climates, atmospheric cities and sleepy villages – all within a land which is comparable in size with Wales and where the total population is less than two million.
Slovenia offers tremendous value for money, admirable standards of cleanliness and a comfortable feeling of safety and well being to visitors from the UK. The quality of life in Slovenia is something which visitors often comment on as something to be treasured and one senses a real feeling of appreciation. Whatever your age and your passions in life, Slovenia has plenty to offer for everyone.
Another much written about subject is the great variety and quality of the food and drink. Our geographical position and our history means that we have many different influences on our cuisine. Of course we have many native dishes, but also with a hint of Italian, Austrian, Hungarian and Balkan styles. Our many varieties of wine will satisfy the most demanding of pallets and offer the visitor another very pleasant discovery.
Many visitors to Slovenia return time and time again and this is perhaps the greatest testament to the beauty of the country and the friendliness and hospitality shown by its people.
